This recipe is simple. It’s just yogurt. In a bowl. With blood oranges and honey.
Start with a blood orange. Use a super-sharp knife to peel it.
Slice it into circles, then slice those circles into halves and quarters. Do it this way, because it’s the prettiest way.
Put a half cup of yogurt in a small bowl. Top with roughly half a chopped orange.
Slivered almonds. I like ‘em raw, but toasted or smoked might be delicious here.
Actually, yes, especially smoked. You can’t go wrong with smoked nuts.
And warm honey.
It doesn’t stay warm long on the yogurt, but I like how it thins out and coats the fruit when it’s warm.
The secret magic is in the sea salt. Don’t skip this part.
And there you go. It’s probably the easiest (but also the best) thing you’ve made all week.
This is simple perfection! Every element is just beautiful!
Thank you, Allie!
